Xiting for the well-being of our environment
Xiting cares deeply about the well-being of our environment, which is why we are committed to sustainable climate and environmental protection. Since September 2019, we have been successfully pursuing the goal of operating 100% CO₂-neutral as a company, thereby offsetting our emissions. This is achieved through the support of reforestation projects where trees are planted to reduce greenhouse gases.
Our position is based on the scientific reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which we at Xiting consider a substantial source highlighting the current climate emergency.
Xiting for the well-being of our environment
Forests without Frontiers
Since 2021, Xiting has supported the reforestation project “Forests without Frontiers” in Romania by planting native trees in deforested areas. This year, 6,650 trees have already been planted. The organization collaborates with the Foundation Conservation Carpathia (FCC) to create the largest forested national park in Europe. Employees of Xiting in Cluj, Romania, actively participate in the planting activities on-site.

Impressions of our projects
Xiting & Climeworks
In addition to our support for Forests Without Frontiers, we contribute monthly to Climeworks. The Zurich-based company develops innovative technologies for direct CO₂ extraction from the air by converting CO₂ into stone. This efficient method allows for large amounts of CO₂ to be filtered from the air and used for various purposes. Your support is crucial to advancing the development of this technology.

Since 2019, Xiting has been actively committed to climate protection and is 100% CO₂-neutral as a company. Initially, we supported the Plant-for-the-Planet foundation in Mexico. Since 2022, we have been planting both our own and customer trees in the Forests Without Frontiers project. We maintain climate partnerships with companies, where we plant trees in reforestation projects through our services, offering them an easy way to actively participate in climate protection.

Our Projects
Forests Without Frontiers
Since 2021, Xiting has been supporting the reforestation project Forests Without Frontiers in Romania, where 6,650 trees have already been planted. Through its local presence in Cluj, the company facilitates direct collaboration and actively supports the planting activities.
Climeworks
We support Climeworks in Zurich, a company that develops innovative CO2 extraction technologies to filter CO2 directly from the air and convert it into stone, enabling efficient CO2 reduction.
School Sponsorship in South Africa
Since 2011, Xiting has been a sponsor for the children of the Farm-School in the Mapungubwe region in northern South Africa. The sponsorship covers tuition fees, books, school uniforms, transportation, meals, and school supplies, thus having a significant impact on the lives of those in the area.
