The integration between classic SAP IDM and Cloud Identity Services is simple. Cloud systems are connected like other systems via SCIM Connector. Authorizations from the backend are identical for SAP IDM, regardless of the name. This allows them to be seamlessly integrated into existing business role concepts. The SAP Identity Provisioning Service (IPS), which integrates cloud systems as proxy systems, is used for provisioning. Cloud systems must first be registered as OAuth on the SAP BTP subaccount and assigned roles. The SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) is often the first system to be managed by SAP IDM.
