The emergency access management (EAM) capabilities in XAMS allow your company to implement policies that govern emergency access to your SAP system.
End-users can use a self-service transaction to request elevated access that provides additional authorizations on a temporary basis. Business process owners or department heads can review those requests and grant access. Alternatively, access can be granted immediately and reviewed later.
In contrast to other EAM solutions, Xiting’s implementation allows end-users to continue working with their own user account instead of requiring them to “check out” so-called firefighter users. As a result, Xiting’s emergency access management concept is fully audit-compliant and much more transparent than competing solutions.
